Summary
No account, sign-in, or cloud profile is required to use Rewall.
Projects, scans, estimates, and finish selections are stored locally on your device.
Room processing and estimate generation are designed to run offline on-device.
Rewall does not use third-party analytics, ads, or cross-app tracking.
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
What Rewall Stores
Project names, rooms, measurements, material estimates, and shopping-list items.
Scanned room geometry and related room-plan data created on supported devices.
Paint colors, sheen choices, wallpaper patterns, and wall-level assignments you save.
Images you choose for wallpaper previews, wall art, finish vault entries, or color matching.
App preferences, onboarding state, measurement system, and local purchase entitlement state.
How the App Uses Data
Rewall uses your information only to provide the app experience: saving projects, scanning
rooms, rendering AR previews, calculating paint, wallpaper, drywall, tile, roofing,
concrete, and related material estimates, and generating shopping lists or project exports
when you ask it to.
The app also stores limited local state such as onboarding progress, measurement-system
preference, free AR preview usage, and whether Rewall Pro is unlocked on your device.
On-Device Processing and Storage
Rewall is designed to keep project data on the device. Projects, imported images, generated
shopping-list PDFs, and exported archives are stored locally unless you choose to share them.
The app does not require a hosted account, remote project sync, analytics SDK, or ad network
to perform its core features.
Camera, LiDAR, and AR Preview
Rewall uses the camera and, on supported devices, LiDAR, ARKit, and RoomPlan capabilities
to scan rooms, measure walls, sample colors, and place live paint or wallpaper previews on
real surfaces.
Camera access is used only for features you start, such as room scanning, color sampling,
and AR preview.
Photos and Imported Images
If you choose images from your photo library, Rewall uses them only for the feature you
selected, such as wallpaper previews, wall art placement, or finish reference storage.
These images remain on-device unless you export or share them yourself.
Exports and Sharing
Rewall can export project archives and shopping-list PDFs. Export and share actions happen
only when you initiate them. Once you share a file outside the app, its handling is governed
by the destination app or service you chose.
Anyone with an exported archive or PDF may be able to read the project information inside it.
In-App Purchases
Rewall offers optional paid upgrades such as monthly, yearly, and lifetime Pro access.
Payments, subscription billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple. Rewall does not
receive your full payment card information.
No Tracking or Analytics Profiles
Rewall does not track you across third-party apps or websites and does not use third-party
analytics or advertising SDKs. The app privacy manifest declares no collected data types and
no tracking domains for the app itself.
Third-Party Services
Rewall may rely on Apple system technologies and services such as:
ARKit and RoomPlan for room capture, measurement, and preview surfaces
Photos, camera, and system file export services provided by iOS
Apple App Store and StoreKit for purchases and restore purchases
These services are governed by Apple's own terms, privacy policy, and device settings.
Your Choices
You can deny or revoke camera and photo access in iOS Settings.
You can delete projects in-app or delete the app to remove locally stored app data.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
You control whether and where exported files are saved or shared.
Support Messages
If you contact support by email, your email address and the contents of your message are used
only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue you reported.
Children's Privacy
Rewall is intended for general home-improvement and interior-planning use and is not directed
to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through
the app.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page
with a revised effective date.
