NightRelay Terms of Use

Effective date: October 10, 2026

These terms describe NightRelay's services, provided by Le Nguyen. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and applicable Apple/iCloud terms. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Care coordination, not a safety monitor

NightRelay is a shared notebook and record of caregiver agreement. It is not a medical device, baby monitor, emergency service, or guarantee that someone is awake or providing care. It does not prescribe feeding, sleep, treatment or medication. Caregivers remain responsible for checking information, directly communicating and meeting the child's needs.

A handoff is recorded only after the incoming caregiver explicitly accepts and the shared update is confirmed. Planned times, app displays and an unconfirmed request do not themselves transfer real-world responsibility. Agree on a direct fallback if connectivity or the app is unavailable.

Your household and data

Use your own iCloud account and invite only the intended caregiver. You must have the right to record and share the information you add. NightRelay is intended for two adult caregivers in one household. Keep independent copies of information you need: cloud services and devices can become unavailable, and the app does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Do not misuse sharing, enter unlawful material, interfere with the service, or misrepresent another caregiver's agreement. Care records and correction history remain subject to your choices and the privacy policy.

Free access and household trial

Logging care, viewing history and exporting records remain available without a paid plan. A 14-day household coordination trial begins when a second caregiver joins. It requires no purchase and does not automatically become a paid subscription. After it ends, starting new handoffs requires an active household plan. A pending handoff may still be completed.

Monthly subscription

If you choose the monthly plan, Apple charges the displayed localized price to your Apple account upon purchase confirmation. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal and generally leaves access for the paid period.

Six-month household pass

The six-month pass is a non-renewing purchase. One payment covers six calendar months from the purchase date. It does not renew automatically. It covers the same household coordination features for both caregivers. Avoid buying another plan while your household is already covered; the app displays current access and supports restore purchases.

Prices, refunds and restoring access

The App Store purchase sheet and in-app Apple-provided prices are authoritative for your region. Apple handles billing and refund decisions, subject to applicable law. Restore using the Apple account that bought the plan. If a confirmed purchase is waiting to sync, reconnect or restore rather than paying again. Deleting the app or household does not cancel an auto-renewing subscription.

Service changes and limitations

We may update the app and its features. Availability depends on supported iOS versions, iCloud, the App Store, your device and network. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, subject to the warranties, liability terms and other provisions of Apple's Standard EULA. These terms do not promise particular sleep, health or caregiving outcomes.
