PomoAura Privacy Policy

PomoAura - AI Ambience Focus Timer is an iOS focus timer with ambience playback, habits, streaks, and optional exports. This policy explains what data the app stores, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Summary

• No account required: PomoAura does not require sign-in and does not create a user profile.
• Data stays on device: Focus sessions, habits, timer preferences, and imported ambient files are stored locally on your device.
• No analytics or tracking: PomoAura does not use third-party analytics, ad SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
• Exports are user controlled: Backups and stats exports are created only when you ask for them and are shared only to destinations you choose.
• Optional notifications: Notifications are used only for timer and streak reminders if you enable them.

Data Stored on Device

• Focus sessions and stats: Completed sessions, streaks, and related progress data used to show your history inside the app.
• Habits: Habit names, completion history, and scheduling details you create in the app.
• Timer and app settings: Preferences such as focus and break durations, selected ambience, volume, and interface settings.
• Imported ambient files: If you import your own ambience audio, those files remain on your device unless you choose to share them yourself.

How Data Is Used

• To run the timer, habits, and streak features inside the app.
• To display your focus history, progress, and preferences across launches.
• To play built-in or imported ambience audio that you choose.
• To generate exports only when you explicitly ask the app to create them.

No Account Required

PomoAura does not require account creation, login, or profile setup. We do not maintain a user account for you on our servers.

No Analytics, Ads, or Tracking

PomoAura does not include third-party analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not collect usage analytics about your focus sessions, habits, or ambience choices.

Exports and Sharing

Backups or stats exports are created only when you choose to create them. Any shared file is sent only to the destination you select through iOS share and save flows.

Notifications

PomoAura may request notification permission for timer completion alerts and streak reminders. These notifications are optional and are used only if you enable them.

Purchases and Subscriptions

If you purchase Pro access or a subscription, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment information. Subscription status and restore purchases are handled by Apple.

Third-Party Services

PomoAura relies on Apple platform services that may process limited data under Apple's own terms and privacy policy:

• Apple iOS system frameworks for timer, notifications, audio playback, and local storage
• Apple App Store / StoreKit for purchases, subscriptions, and restore purchases

Your Choices

• You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
• You can delete the app to remove locally stored sessions, habits, settings, and imported files.
• You decide whether to create or share exports.

Children’s Privacy

PomoAura is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
