Math Realm Privacy Policy

Math Realm: Maths Adventures is an iOS and iPadOS app for primary maths practice, including times tables, fractions, telling time, and calculations. This policy explains what data the app stores, how it is used, and the choices available to families.

Summary

• No account required: Math Realm does not require sign-in.
• Progress stays on device: Learner progress and rewards are stored locally with Apple SwiftData.
• Works offline: Core learning activities do not require an online account or server sync.
• Purchases handled by Apple: Math Realm Pro is processed by Apple through StoreKit.
• No tracking in the current app: The current codebase does not include third-party analytics, IDFA tracking, or a production ad SDK.

Data Stored on Device

• Learner profile: Display name, avatar, selected difficulty, theme, streak, and creation date.
• Learning progress: Module progress, fact mastery, stars, session results, and related practice state.
• Rewards and shop state: Coins, gems, owned cosmetics, equipped cosmetics, and power-up counts.
• Preferences: Haptic feedback, sound effects, read-aloud, reduce motion, and timer settings.
• App state: Onboarding completion, active theme, and local purchase entitlement cache.

How Data Is Used

• To provide maths lessons, practice, challenge, and progress tracking.
• To adjust the learner experience based on difficulty and mastery.
• To remember accessibility, audio, timer, and theme preferences.
• To keep local stars, coins, cosmetics, and streaks available across launches.
• To determine whether Math Realm Pro features are unlocked.

No Account Required

Math Realm does not require account creation, login, email address, or a cloud profile. The app does not maintain a user account for you on our servers.

Children's Privacy

Math Realm is designed for children and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. Learner profile and progress data are stored locally on the device unless a parent or guardian chooses to share information when contacting support.

Speech, Sound, and Haptics

If Read questions aloud is enabled, Math Realm uses Apple device text-to-speech to speak questions. The app also uses local sound effects and haptic feedback based on your settings.

Purchases

If you purchase Math Realm Pro, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment information. Purchase status, refunds, Family Sharing availability, and restore purchases are handled by Apple.

Ads and Tracking

The current Math Realm codebase does not include a production third-party advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, App Tracking Transparency prompt, or IDFA-based tracking. If a real ad provider is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before release and the provider must be appropriate for a child-focused maths app.

Third-Party Services

Math Realm relies on Apple platform services that may process limited data under Apple's own terms and privacy policy:

• Apple iOS and iPadOS system frameworks for local storage, audio, speech, and app settings
• Apple App Store and StoreKit for purchases, restore purchases, and entitlement checks

Your Choices

• You can change sound, haptics, read-aloud, reduce motion, timer, and difficulty settings in the app.
• You can manage or restore purchases through Apple.
• You can delete the app to remove locally stored Math Realm data from your device.
• You can contact support if you need help understanding or removing app data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
