Aetherline Protocol Terms of Use (EULA)

Effective date: July 2, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Aetherline Protocol, an iOS arcade space shooter with campaign sectors, Endless Survival, Game Center leaderboards and achievements, rewarded ads, Aether Point purchases, and a Remove Ads purchase. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Apple Standard EULA

Aetherline Protocol uses Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). The Apple Standard EULA is available here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

If there is any conflict between these supplemental terms and Apple's Standard EULA for App Store distribution, Apple's Standard EULA applies where required by Apple's terms and App Store rules.

Use of the App

You may use Aetherline Protocol only in compliance with applicable laws, Apple's platform rules, and these terms. You are responsible for your use of the app and any gameplay decisions, purchases, or account settings associated with your device or Apple ID.

License

Subject to these terms and Apple's Standard EULA, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Game Features

Aetherline Protocol includes arcade gameplay features such as campaign levels, Endless Survival, ship frames, weapons, power-ups, permanent upgrades, lore fragments, daily rewards, and local progress. Features, balance, reward amounts, enemy tuning, availability, and visual/audio behavior may change over time.

Ads and Rewarded Ads

The app may display ads, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are optional and may grant gameplay rewards such as Aether Points, a one-run frame trial, Nova charge, or a continue/revive. Rewarded-ad availability can depend on network status, ad inventory, device settings, and ad provider behavior.

In-App Purchases

Aetherline Protocol may offer optional in-app purchases through Apple StoreKit. Current product types may include consumable Aether Point packs and a non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Consumable Aether Point packs are intended to be consumed in the app and may not be restorable after use. Remove Ads is a non-consumable purchase that removes banner and interstitial ads, grants a one-time Aether Point bonus, and makes rewarded shortcut buttons grant their normal reward without presenting an ad. Purchase availability, pricing, and reward amounts may vary by country, platform rules, and app version.

Billing, refunds, purchase history, family sharing eligibility, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple. You can request refunds through Apple's Report a Problem flow.

Game Center

Game Center support is optional and may include leaderboards, achievements, and Apple's in-app Game Center interface. Game Center is operated by Apple and requires a compatible Apple account and device settings.

Local Progress

Game progress is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for lost progress caused by deleting the app, device damage, storage failure, operating system behavior, or other events outside our control.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
Do not reverse engineer, modify, sell, or redistribute the app except where law permits.
Do not exploit bugs, purchases, ads, Game Center, or platform services in abusive ways.
Do not use the app for unlawful, harmful, or infringing activity.

Privacy

Your use of the app is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled.

Third-Party Services

Aetherline Protocol may rely on Apple services, including the App Store, StoreKit, Game Center, and optional diagnostics, plus Google Mobile Ads for ads and rewarded ads. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aetherline Protocol is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, purchases, revenue, goodwill, or app access arising from or related to your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.
