Aetherline Protocol Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 2, 2026
Aetherline Protocol is an iOS arcade space shooter by Le Nguyen. This policy explains what data the app uses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Summary
- No account required: You can play without creating an account with us.
- Local progress: Game progress, unlocks, scores, lore unlocks, daily reward state, and settings are saved on your device.
- Optional Game Center: If you use Game Center, Apple handles sign-in, leaderboards, and achievements.
- Ads and purchases: The app uses Google Mobile Ads for ads and Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases.
- No sensitive device access: The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photo library, health, or precise location access.
Data the App Stores on Your Device
Aetherline Protocol stores a local save file so the game can remember your progress between launches. This may include:
- Aether Points balance and purchased upgrades
- Owned ship frames and selected frame
- Whether ads have been removed
- Campaign and Endless high scores, best survival time, and lifetime scrap totals
- Unlocked lore/data fragments
- Daily reward streak and pending reward state
- Pending rewarded-ad gameplay rewards, such as a full Nova charge
This local progress is used only to run the game, restore your in-game state, and show your progress. Deleting the app may delete locally stored progress from your device.
Advertising
Aetherline Protocol uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Ads may be shown on menu/store screens, at natural breaks, or when you choose a rewarded-ad gameplay option such as bonus Aether Points, a one-run frame trial, Nova charge, or revive.
Google Mobile Ads may process data such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and other information needed to deliver, limit, measure, and improve ads. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policies.
The app may request App Tracking Transparency permission. Your ATT choice controls whether the advertising identifier can be used for tracking where applicable. You can change this choice in iOS Settings.
Game Center
Aetherline Protocol supports Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is optional and uses your Apple account. If you sign in or use Game Center features, Apple may process your Game Center profile, scores, achievements, and related activity under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
In-App Purchases
Aetherline Protocol offers optional in-app purchases through Apple StoreKit, including consumable Aether Point packs and a non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. Apple processes payments, purchase history, refunds, and restoration. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Diagnostics
If you choose to share app analytics or crash reports with Apple, Apple may provide aggregated or diagnostic information that helps identify crashes and improve app stability.
Third-Party Services
Aetherline Protocol may rely on these services, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy:
- Apple iOS frameworks for local storage, audio, haptics, Game Center, and optional diagnostics
- Apple App Store / StoreKit for purchases, refunds, and purchase restoration
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for ads, rewarded ads, ad measurement, and related diagnostics
Your Choices
- You can play without creating an account with us.
- You can choose whether to sign in to Game Center.
- You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.
- You can opt in or out of sharing diagnostics with Apple in iOS Settings.
- You can use Apple's purchase restore flow for eligible non-consumable purchases.
- You can delete the app to remove local app data from your device.
Children's Privacy
Aetherline Protocol is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.
