Women's Hormonal Tracker Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 30, 2026
Women's Hormonal Tracker is an iOS app for logging menstrual cycle information, symptoms, mood, notes, and hormone-health patterns over time. This policy explains what data the app uses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Summary
- No account required: Women's Hormonal Tracker does not require sign-up or login.
- On-device by default: Profile details, logs, and insights data are stored locally on your device.
- Optional HealthKit: Health app access is only used if you grant permission.
- Optional on-device AI: If Apple Intelligence is available, tips and reports are generated on your device.
- Ads in the free experience: An ad SDK may process ad-related device and network data when ads are shown.
Data Stored in the App
- Profile information: Name, age, life stage, last period date, average cycle length, average period duration, selected symptoms, onboarding status, notification preference, HealthKit preference, and basic streak/log counters.
- Daily logs: Log date, menstrual flow level, symptoms, mood, and notes you enter.
- Local app state: Settings and state needed to show predictions, reminders, insights, and the current app experience.
How Data Is Used
- To display your dashboard, history, cycle phase, and trend views inside the app.
- To estimate cycle timing and highlight upcoming period dates based on your inputs.
- To generate reminders and summaries using the data stored on your device.
- To let you review symptom, mood, and flow patterns over time.
HealthKit
Women's Hormonal Tracker can optionally request access to Apple HealthKit. If you allow access, the app may read menstrual flow, ovulation test results, and body temperature data, and it may write menstrual flow samples when you log them in the app. HealthKit access is optional and controlled by you through Apple's permission settings.
On-Device AI Insights
If your device supports Apple Intelligence, Women's Hormonal Tracker can use on-device Foundation Models to generate daily tips and longer reports from your profile and recent logs. This processing is designed to happen on your device. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the app falls back to built-in tips instead of sending your data to a developer-operated backend.
Notifications
Women's Hormonal Tracker may request notification permission for daily check-in reminders and predicted period alerts. These notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time in iOS Settings.
Advertising and Tracking
Women's Hormonal Tracker includes Appodeal for banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads in the free experience. Before initializing the ad SDK, the app may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
When ads are shown, Appodeal and its mediation or ad-network partners may process data such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, and related operations. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
No Developer-Operated Account Backend
Women's Hormonal Tracker does not require account creation, and no developer-operated cloud sync or account system was identified in the current codebase. Your cycle logs, symptom history, and notes are meant to remain on your device unless you choose to share information through Apple services you control.
Third-Party Services
Women's Hormonal Tracker may rely on the following services, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy:
- Apple iOS frameworks for local storage, notifications, and system services
- Apple HealthKit, if you grant Health access
- Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, when available on-device
- Appodeal and mediation or advertising partners, when ads are shown
Your Choices
- You can deny or revoke HealthKit permission in the Health app and iOS Settings.
- You can deny or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings if the ATT prompt is shown.
- You can delete individual app data in-app or use Delete All Data to remove stored records.
- You can delete the app to remove its locally stored data from your device.
Children's Privacy
Women's Hormonal Tracker is intended for personal health and wellness tracking and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
